Our approach to data protection:
Openiera undertakes to collect only the data strictly necessary to manage and deliver the services requested by users. No personal data will be used for commercial purposes or sold to third parties.

Billing details:
Name, postal address and email address, for issuing invoices or managing contracts.

Contact form:
Name, email address, telephone number where given, and the content of the message. This data is used solely to answer the enquiry, and is kept so that a record of the exchange remains.

Technical data:
Our host produces visitor statistics from its connection logs, IP address included, and we consult them. The site itself uses neither analytics nor tracking cookies. When a message is sent through the form, two technical details are stored with it: the browser your device reports, which helps tell a person from a script, and an irreversible fingerprint of your IP address. The address itself is never kept, and the fingerprint is computed with a secret key without which it cannot be traced back. It serves only to spot several submissions from the same origin within the hour, the usual sign of an automated sender, and it is erased once that hour has passed, long before the message it was attached to.

Retention period:
Messages received through the contact form are kept for five years from the last exchange, then deleted. Data tied to a contractual relationship follows the periods set by the accounting and legal obligations that apply to it.

This site uses no cookies for tracking or marketing purposes. Only cookies necessary for the technical operation of the site may be used.
