The shop catalogue, with search by product code, category filtering and stock shown on each item

Bespoke online shop for Mode à tout prix

Mode à tout prix ran a bricks-and-mortar shop and wanted to move into selling online, with one idea firmly in mind: live shopping, that way of selling in front of a camera whose ancestor is the TV shopping channel.

The need fitted into no off-the-shelf solution. So Openiera built a bespoke commerce application, with its own management panel: stock, goods, customers and shipping on one side, catalogue and checkout on the other.

On the customer side, the catalogue can be browsed by category or searched straight by product code, which matters when a reference has just been shown on screen. Stock appears item by item, so an order never goes out against something that has sold out.

Checkout then runs in steps, from basket to payment: delivery details, then shipping method. Three Mondial Relay options sit side by side with their price and estimated delay, the round-the-clock automatic locker, the pickup point and home delivery.

The collection point is finally chosen on a map, without leaving the page. The buyer types in a postcode, sees the nearby locations with their address and opening hours, and clicks the one that suits them. The points on offer come straight from the carrier, so the list is always up to date.
